While working for the Britomart Hospitality Group in Auckland, I was tasked with rebranding their venue “Racket”. The space could best be described as a homage to the original music garage where the beers are cheap and music pump from the speakers, shaking you to your bones. The identity takes influence from your classic gig ticket stub. Utilizing typography from this style of ephemera and then modernizing it through minimalist layout and imagery treatment forms a unique and relatable identity that looks like the venue feels.
